Bright.

It's a very bright morning today! =) This is the time of year when I drive to work and I really wish the sun was either up just a tiny bit more, or not so far up. It's always right at the middle of my windshield while driving to work and this causes for my eyes to be all squinty.

No matter, it's still a beautiful morning!

The Way We Were

I've come to the conclusion that people in general are much too indecisive. This happens to tick me off very often. I'm really sick of it. Decide what you want, take the steps to go get it. Don't call me trying to see what I'll say either way. Just don't. On a side note, The Way We Were is a great movie.
What's too painful to remember, we simply choose to forget. So it's the laughter we'll remember, whenever we remember the way we were.
-The Way We Were
Katie: You'll never find anyone as good for you as I am, to believe in you as much as I do or love you as much!
Hubbell: I know that.
Katie: Well then, why?
Hubbell: Do you think if I come back its going to be okay by magic? What's going to change? What's going to be different? We'll both be wrong, we'll both lose.
Katie: Couldn't we both win?

the video is finished!

Andrew: I'm going to do some weird stuff here in a minute, so don't laugh.
Nina: That's what she said!

by far my favorite moment from all the clips I have. :). Such a good time.

Can you tell I watched a Katharine Hepburn movie last night? She never ceases to amaze me. Love her!

New Camera

New pictures with my new camera! =)
I love it already!
Most things in life are moments of pleasure and a lifetime of embarrassment; photography is a moment of embarrassment and a lifetime of pleasure.
~Tony Benn

My camera came in the mail today! =). It's sitting on my desk, unopened, and I want to open it SO BAD!

If you only once would let me
Only just one time
Then be happy with the consequence
With whatever's gonna happen tonight
Don't think we're not serious
When's it ever not
The love we make is give and it's take
I'm game to play along

All I can say
I shouldn't say
Can we take a ride?
Get out of this place
While we still have time
-Jimmy Eat World

I had forgotten how much I love Jimmy Eat World. They came on my iPod this morning on the way to work, such wonderful songs.

I really need to stop staying up so late. I decided it would be a good idea to work on our awesome life teen video till midnight last night, then didn't fall asleep till almost two in the morning. It's looking sweet though, I must say. This was such a great weekend. Life teen kids continuously amaze me with how awesome they are. =)  This week has the potential to be fantastic. I have no Old Navy work until Saturday, and a lot of video clips to play around with on my computer at home.

Yes, I'm a nerd. That's a fact.

Also- besides the fact that this morning sucked because of lack of sleep, it is FREEZING cold outside! Seriously, what's the deal Ohio? Decide what temperature you want to be and stick with it. This whole changing after I've made the flip flop conversion is ticking me off.

Ahhh, if only I lived somewhere warmer. This summer, I am going to the ocean. I don't care how I get there or when it is, but I'm going. Just my random thought for a Monday.

Still not caught up on sleep...

I try and try to actually go to bed early, epic fail every time. Friday night, Journey cover band, Saturday night, stupid teenage girls screaming and making baby noises in the box right next to mine, Sunday night, X-Men 2 consumed my time.

One of these days I'll catch up on sleep. It will be glorious.

Otherwise I guess Cardboard city went alright. I was sleepy the entire time so didn't actually enjoy my weekend. More or less, I enjoyed the sleeping part in my box, and even that was satisfactory. (Seeming how it was on hard concrete, and the aforementioned girls were annoying me).

Ahh but as I always do when watching awesome movies, I have a quote to share.

Nightcrawler: You know, outside the circus, most people were afraid of me. But I didn't hate them. I pitied them. Do you know why? Because most people will never know anything beyond what they see with their own two eyes.
Storm: Well, I gave up on pity a long time ago.
Nightcrawler: Someone so beautiful should not be so angry.
Storm: Sometimes anger can help you survive.
Nightcrawler: So can faith.

"The secret is, I trust people much too easily. When someone asks for my attention, I more than happily plunge into their gaze, smile too much and listen too much. I create a false image of someone else on my own, believe their sincerity with my whole heart. Therefore I am my own downfall, and there is not one person to blame besides myself."-Unknown

I can smell summer...

Summer is fast approaching :). I have fun pictures from St. Louis that I'll post soon here if I can ever find the battery charger for my camera. Also fun spring pictures of the fam are on there too.

Finally got my acceptance letter to U of Akron! So I'm going to see a guidance counselor later this week or next to sign up for a couple classes this summer!

On a side note. My Easter dress is awesome.
Another side note: Stupid Old Navy scheduled me to work from 12-7:30 Easter day. So that's annoying. Hopefully I can get out of it. If not, thanks Old Navy, for ruining an awesome holiday.

Sherlock Holmes - Rachel McAdams

So I haven't actually finished this movie yet, but it deserves a post already. That should tell you how awesome this movie is (at least so far... movies have an uncanny knack for disappointing me with their endings). Rachel McAdams plays Irene Adler. Now, not reading any of the stories about Sherlock Holmes and only having a vague description of who he is and what the story is about, I take Irene Adler as someone that Mr. Holmes admires greatly, and may even love. Her wit seems to challenge even Mr. Holmes.

No wonder I like her character so much. Wit gets me every time. So anyway, she's so ridiculously bad ass, and I say that because I really can not think of any other way to explain it. If I didn't like Rachel McAdams before, which I did, I definitely am in love with her acting skills now.

I guess the only thing I'm really not a fan of is the Blackwood, rising from the grave, black magic, stuff. I mean, maybe it's a traditional Sherlock Holmes story that I'm just not familiar with and perhaps I should read the books about him. The story behind what Holmes is solving is just not my cup of tea. Perhaps more on this subject will come when I finish the movie.

Also- Started the Godfather. Which in itself is ridiculously long, we'll see how THAT goes.

"Life is rarely about what happened; it's mostly about what we think happened.
-Chuck Klosterman

... I swear I'm going back to work now. Really.
Anybody who says they are a good liar obviously is not, because any legitimately savvy liar would always insist they're honest about everything.
-Chuck Klosterman

Ok Ok, So I have an obsession with Chuck Klosterman at this point in time. He is very witty, I can't help it! Wit gets me every time. So, I have set aside "My Sister's Keeper" and can not put this one down! Currently reading "Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs." Which is, mainly, a collection of essays about pop culture. If I had the book right in front of me, than I would copy my favorite part down. It needs to be exactly right.

But alas, I do not. It's something about John Cusack, and the quote that is listed a few blogs earlier. There is more to come with this quote. Perhaps I'll update later.

For now, I'll leave with another witty quote, and perhaps go back to TAPCO and the endless array of phone calls that keep coming in.

"You used to be able to tell the difference between hipsters and homeless people. Now, it's between hipsters and retards. I mean, either that guy in the corner in orange safety pants holding a protest sign and wearing a top hat is mentally disabled or he is the coolest fucking guy you will ever know."
-Chuck Klosterman
I have been hung up on twice today. Both have been Home Depot stores wanting to know where their shipments are. They don't realize that I have absolutely no say in when the shipment gets to their store, as when it leaves our plant it is out of our hands. We shipped on time, they will deliver when they deliver. Stop bugging me. Oh OK, hang up, that's mature.

On a side note, my little brother is home for the weekend, and hopefully he's actually at the house when I get home later. Arrived home last night to find he was out with his friends, and by the time he got home I was asleep. How stupid Luke, lame to the extreme.

Thought for the day, I miss my iPod hookup to my car. Listening to maybe two songs on the way to work is very sad. Stupid morning radio.
